A professional teeth cleaning should be done once or twice a year. It is essential to maintaining a good oral health. By using the latest AIRFLOW® Prophylaxis Master technology we can clean your teeth in a gentle way free of pain. In our tooth brushing lessons we will teach children from an early age to pay attention to a good dental hygiene. We are also happy to advise you on individual at-home oral care techniques.
Preventive Dentistry
Dental implants are a tooth replacement solution that will look just like your own teeth. By using dental volumetric tomography (DVT) we will create a 3D image of your existing bone material prior to the treatment. This forms the basis for perfect prosthetic planning and then, subsequently, an exact dental implant surgery procedure.

Fillings are used to treat cavities caused by tooth decay and will help to restore your tooth’s chewing function. It goes without saying that, apart from the functional aspects, the aesthetic appearance of your teeth is also highly important to us. At our practice we use different types of fillings, based on your individual needs. This means that we offer simple amalgam-free fillings paid for by the statutory health insurance, as well as high-quality aesthetic front teeth fillings, inlays (a filling made in the laboratory), composite fillings or tooth decay treatment using the innovative infiltration treatment with ICON.
Fillings
The basis for a successful root canal treatment is the preparation and disinfection of the root canal. With the help of modern technology the root canal can be prepared in such a way that it follows the tooth’s anatomy enabling a disinfection using irrigating solutions. During the treatment a dental dam is set up and high-end nickel-titanium files are used.
Endodontics/Root Canal Treatments
Whether you need an implant-supported fixed denture, a removable tooth-supported telescopic or total prosthesis or a crown or a bridge, we will always choose and plan the best tooth replacement option based on your individual needs. Your tooth replacement from our practice is also always made in Erlangen/Nuremberg.
Prosthodontics/High-quality Tooth Replacement
Splints can be used to treat temporomandibular joint disorders. Using functional analysis it is individually fitted to your temporomandibular joint. By digitally measuring the temporomandibular joint, the splint can be manufactured without the need for a traditional dental impression, making the procedure much more comfortable for our patients.
Splint Therapy (TMD Treatment)
Periodontitis is an infectious disease that affects your tooth-supporting tissues, meaning the gum and the underlying bone. If periodontitis goes unnoticed, bone can be lost, and teeth may loosen or fall out. The most common sign of periodontitis is bleeding of gums. Periodontitis treatment can not only remove the inflammation, but also prevent any further consequences for your health.

Older patients, that cannot visit our practice in person, can contact us for home visits. Furthermore, we serve retirement homes and visit them regularly so that exhausting trips to our practice are only needed in individual cases. Our practice has a barrier-free entrance and a lift so that the raised ground floor can be reached easily. We are also equipped with an accessible toilet.
Geriatric Dentistry
Of course our Zahnstube staff also extends a warm welcome to children. Our dental care for children starts well before the first tooth comes through consulting the mother-to-be. In our tooth brushing lessons we will teach children from an early age about the importance of a good dental hygiene. We are a member of the Bayerische LandesArbeitsGemeinschaft Zahngesundheit e.V. and as such we do also provide care for nursery schools and schools. For healthy teeth right from the start.
Children’s Dentistry
Invisible aligners can be used to correct mild teeth crowding. Teeth Whitening can restore your bright smile. We offer in-office and supervised at-home whitening treatments. If you choose the at-home whitening option, we will provide you with custom whitening trays and a whitening agent that you can use at home. Thus, you will be able to easily conduct the whitening at your convenience. We are also happy to inform you about cosmetic treatment involving veneers or all-ceramics restoration.
Cosmetic Dentistry
A mandibular advancement device, also known as mandibular splint, can improve sleep apnoea and reduce snoring. The device consists of a splint for the lower and upper jaw that are connected by a joint. The splint gently moves the lower jaw forward during sleep, clearing the throat and avoiding that your tongue slips backwards. Once you have received a prescription by your dental practice the statutory health insurance will pay all costs.
